Pumps Properties

Property Name Description
Assembly Length <Positive numeric value>
  • Sets overall horizontal length of the motor/pump subassembly.
Base Height <Positive numeric value>
  • Sets the thickness of the base on which the motor/pump subassembly rests.
Base Length <Positive numeric value>
  • Sets the length of the base on which the motor/pump subassembly rests.
Base To Casing Top Distance <Positive numeric value>
  • Sets the vertical distance between the base and the top most portion of the pump housing.
Base To Center Elevation <Positive numeric value>
  • Sets the vertical distance between the base and the center line axis of the motor/pump subassembly.

For the motor mounted pump, the base refers to the lowest point on the motor or pump housing.

Base To Discharge Length <Positive numeric value>
  • Sets the vertical distance between the base and the center line axis of the pump discharge (End2).
Base To Inlet Elevation <Positive numeric value>
  • Sets the vertical distance between the bottom of the motor and the center line axis of the pump housing.

This property applies to the vertically oriented pumps.

Base To Motor Top Distance <Positive numeric value>
  • Sets the vertical distance between the base and the top most portion of the motor, equals base height and motor body height.
Base Width <Positive numeric value>
  • Sets the width of the base on which the motor/pump subassembly rests.
Casing1 Radius <Positive numeric value>
  • Sizes the radius of the first pump housing.
This property applies to the vertical dual arm pump.
Casing2 Radius <Positive numeric value>
  • Sizes the radius of the second pump housing.
This property applies to the vertical dual arm pump.
Casing1 Total Offset <Positive numeric value>
  • Sets the overall offset distance between the suction (End1) axis to the outer most portion of pump number one's housing.
This property applies to the vertical dual arm pump.
Casing2 Total Offset <Positive numeric value>
  • Sets the overall offset distance between the suction (End1) axis to the outer most portion of pump number two's housing.
This property applies to the vertical dual arm pump.
Casing | Diameter <Positive numeric value>
  • Sets the diameter of the pump housing.
Casing Height <Positive numeric value>
  • Sets the height of the motor section.
Casing | Offset <Positive numeric value>
  • Sets the horizontal offset distance between the pump intake (End1) and the front of the base.
Center To Box Offset <Positive numeric value>
  • Sets the offset distance between the pump intake (End1) and the outer portion of the motor electrical connections box.
Center To Discharge Elevation <Positive numeric value>
  • Sets the vertical offset distance between the pump intake (End1) and the outlet (End2).
Center To Discharge Length <Positive numeric value>
  • Sets the vertical offset distance between the motor/pump axis and the motor flange surface.
Center To Discharge Offset <Positive numeric value>
  • Sets the offset distance between the motor/pump axis and the discharge (End2) axis/ flange surface.
Center To Mount Offset <Positive numeric value>
  • Sets the offset distance between the motor/pump axis and the discharge (End2) axis.
Center To Suction Length <Positive numeric value>
  • Sets the vertical offset distance between the motor/pump axis and the motor mount bottom surface.
Center To Suction Offset <Positive numeric value>
  • Sets the offset distance between the motor/pump axis and the suction (End1) flange.
Collector Height <Positive numeric value>
  • Sets the height of the collector between inlet and discharge manifolds.
Connection | End Type fl -<numeric value>
  • Sets and sizes end with a flange connection.
m -<numeric value>
  • Sets and sizes end with a male connection.
fe -<numeric value>
  • Sets and sizes end with a female connection.
Separate End Type entries for each End Spec with a semi colon.

Example: fl-2;fe-.13 creates a flange at End1 with size 2, and a female connection at End2 with an overall reduction of component's dimensions of .13

Connection | Length Positive <numeric value>
  • Sets length of straight portion at connection at END1.
Connection Offset Discharge <Positive numeric value>
  • Sets the offset between discharge connection at End2 and the center, towards base.
Connection Offset Suction <Positive numeric value>
  • Sets the offset between suction connection at End1 and the center, towards base.
Diaphragm Connector Diameter <Positive numeric value>
  • Sets the diameter of the diaphragms within pump width.
Diaphragm Connector Length <Positive numeric value>
  • Determines the length of the shaft connecting air chambers containing the diaphragms.
Discharge | Connection Length <Positive numeric value>
  • Sets the straight length at the End2 outlet.
Discharge Outer Diameter Positive <numeric value>
  • Run outside diameter at End2.
  • Main outside diameter at inlet.
Discharge Side Offset <Positive numeric value>
  • Sets the curvature radius at the flange surface of base around the discharge outlet.
Discharge To Motor End Distance <Positive numeric value>
  • Sets the horizontal distance between the pump discharge axis (End2) and the opposite end of the motor.
Discharge To Suction Length <Positive numeric value>
  • Sets the horizontal offset distance between the pump discharge axis (End2) and the pump suction flange surface (End1).
Discharge Type
  • 1-Horizontal - End2 Outlet Horizontal.
  • 2-Vertical - End2 Outlet Vertical.
  • 3-Side - Both suction inlet (end1) and Outlet are at side.
  • Sets the discharge type of the pump to one of the above options.
Flow Rate <Positive numeric value>
  • Sets a value for the amount of flow through pump. Used to calculate overall flow rate during analysis operations.
Half Casing Length <Positive numeric value>
  • Sets the size of the pump housing from the outermost surface to the suction and discharge axis.
Inline Length <Positive numeric value>
  • Sets the overall distance between suction (End1) and discharge (End2) flange surfaces when they are inline.

  • Sets the second motor diameter.
Motor Height <Positive numeric value>
  • Sets the height of the pump housing.
Motor | Over Shoot <Positive numeric value>
  • Sets the distance between the motor's end surface when it overshoots the base.
Motor | Rotation
  • 1–leftHanded

  • Sets the motor rotation. Pump outlet is rotated to clockwise for right handed orientation, and counter clockwise for left handed orientation.
Motor | Mount Length <Positive numeric value>
  • Sets the length dimension for the motor mount.
Mount is maintained centered under motor.
Motor | Mount Width <Positive numeric value>
  • Sets the width dimension for the motor mount.
Mount is maintained centered under motor.
Offset Between Collectors <Positive numeric value>
  • Sets the horizontal distance between elbows connecting the manifold.

Offset Between Pumps <Positive numeric value>
  • Sets the offset distance between outer surfaces of pumps.
Pump Height <Positive numeric value>
  • Sets overall length of the assembly of a vertical . pump, for example, Jockey Pump.
Pump Length <Positive numeric value>
  • Sets the length for suitable displacement of diaphragm in the chamber.
Pump To Base Offset <Positive numeric value>
  • Sets the offset distance between the pump axis and the base.
Pump Width <Positive numeric value>
  • Sets the width for the pump chambers.
Suction | Connection Length <Positive numeric value>
  • Sets the straight length at the End1 outlet.
Suction Outer Diameter Positive <numeric value>
  • Inlet outside diameter at inlet.
Suction Side
  • 1–leftHanded
  • 2–rightHanded
  • Sets the suction (End1) orientation to right or left side. Discharge is oriented to the opposite side of the pump housing.
Suction To Casing1 Center <Positive numeric value>
  • Sets the horizontal offset distance between the suction (End1) flange surface to the central axis of pump number one.
This property applies to the vertical dual arm pump.
Suction To Casing2 Center <Positive numeric value>
  • Sets the horizontal offset distance between the suction (End1) flange surface to the central axis of pump number two.
This property applies to the vertical dual arm pump.
Total Height <Positive numeric value>
  • Sets the height from the base to the discharge port/manifold End 2 surface. Specifies the total height of the pump assembly.
It is the sum of H2, H3 and the Base Height.

Total Height covers Collector Height and the Base Height.

Transition1 Length, Transition2 Length <Positive numeric value>
  • Sets the length of the transition coupling the pump manifolds with End1 and End2 respectively.
